Naruto Character Hair Guide

Omg~! I've never drawn so many Naruto characters in such a short time before~...

This is a (very sloppy) hair guide for those who often draw Naruto characters.
Obviously, these aren't all of the characters.
This isn't a head-guide, so obviously the anatomy/accuracy of each character is off.

Forgive me if this tutorial/guide sucks (it's my first one). Most of these characters i've never even drawn before~


Some Tips:
1.) Use reference from the actual manga/anime. There's no need to draw by memory. Over time, you'll begin to draw the character with ease and less references.

2.) Majority of the time, the ends of the hair are spikes or straight (like Hinata's or Lee's).

3.) Many of the characters have similar hairstyles but with some distinct differences. Know what they are.

4.) For Naruto characters, the less lines used, the better. Masashi-sensei uses a lot of bold lines and doesn't usually draw individual strands of hair on a character. However, there are some exceptions to certain characters. But most of the time you can get away with drawing lines that follow the outline of their head. (if that makes sense)

5.) Draw the outline of the person's head first. It'll help.

6.) Practice Practice Practice!!!!

Btw, this is just a general guide and what I usually do. There is no "absolute" way to draw certain characters. After all, there are so many different styles~
